You can try and <a href="http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/malwarebytes/mbam-setup.exe" rel="nofollow">download Malwarebytes' antimalware</a> and run it. It should remove the infection.

I keep getting the ANG Antivirus 09 window telling me my computer is infected with viruses and spyware. I did NOT click on anything to clean it up, sensing it was a hoax, so I haven't installed the software. However, the pop-ups telling me my computer is infected continue. How do I stop them? I checked the processes and files above, and none are on my system.

Thanks, Kate

Excellent instruction. Note that dates at the end of some listed files will correspond to the day it was downloaded.
Files on my machine were named:
scsys16_080910.dll
sppdcrs080910.scr
svchoct.exe
dcbdcatys32_080910a.dll
sgcxcxxaspf080910.exe
tawisys.ini
wftadfi16_080910a.dll
I also had two different dated registry entries, wftadfi16_080825a.dll & wftadfi16_080910a.dll

This virus hide an application extension (.exe, just exe), i had change the option in Task Manager to Show the extension, but stil not working.
this is so risk if another virus wich hide the 'real' extension ( virus.doc [long space here] .exe ) attack the computer or hide in portable USB stick.

how i fix/ show the application extension (.exe) ???
